I will be updating new journals each week about what i'm researching and information relating to my research topic. I have chosen for my research topic to host an "Art Exhibition" This week i am writing down in my notepad, notes about what i'm researching. I'm planning out when i need to do things by and what needs to be looked into. 07/02/2012 Tuesday today I am staring to write my proposal. Tonight I have started to write the key points to my proposal for each section as well as a paragraph. I have a list of THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND FOR THE EXHIBITION. These consist of dot points of information which will be required or would be thought about for the exhibition, such as.........
To think about having the students of the school's latest artwork displayed in the exhibition
Profit-loss (food and drink)
How many pieces of art do i want to ennlist (which ones to sell), (How will I sell them (system of selling)), (what will make people want to buy the artwork)
14/02/2012 Week 3 Tuesday Every night in the past week I have been working on my proposal. Inbetween the times when I am writing my proposal I have been jotting down in my notepad, ideas and information about the exhibition. These pages will be edited and copied to be able to put then into my folio.

16/02/2012 Thursday Today I have sent a formal letter to The Principal and the Councellor in regards of being able to hire out the assembly hall for my art exhibition. Hopefully I will hear back from them soon. 17/02/2012 Friday Today I got a reply from both the principal and councellor saying that they are really happy to hear from a past schollar and that it will be a pleasure to have my art exhibition held in their venue.
20/02/2012 Week 4 Monday This week I am set to start a schedule and to sort out the date when the exhibition is going to be. There is a big problem because our class has recieved an assessment planner showing when everything is due was planning on doing it in may. I found out today that us as a class has to be working on our outcomes by the time I have it, so I have to work out a way that works around it without having to rush all work I will need to do. 01/03/2012 Week 5 Thursday Yesterday I went to a screening of a film at Greater Union Arndale and after the movie I talked to one of the workers there about some cinesavers for the raffle I will have at the exhibition, so he gave me his card so I can contact him. On tuesday I wasn't able to make it to school because I was unwell but I managed to do some productive painting at home. This week I have written down what needs to be done for the whole semester, so now it just needs to be put into some kind of a schedule. This weekend I will hopefully plan on going to see a fringe art exhibition or two. If I have a chance to go and see one I will record down what I see and experience at the exhibition. I think I should put together a table that has columns which I can write down valuable information to help out with mine. One of the tasks for my topic is to sign out jobs to some helpers. So in the next day or so I will put together a page that has a list of all the jobs that need to be filled and a box beside the job where the person can put there name and signature. The people who will help out though would have to be people who I can trust and rely on because I don't want people who are going to be stupid, lazy and not doing what their supposed to do. Week 6 This week I have sent messages to a few company for possible donations towards the art exhibition raffle Week 7 This week I have been building up my folio and getting survey forms togetherto send to people who go to art exhibitions regularly, so they can answer questions which I can use to help with the set out of mine. 19/03/12 Week 8 Mon
This week I am going to be building up some evidence for my folio.
I have sent a few people surveys which have had a positive response to my questions.
I bought some candy girl trays from spotlight today for $14.95 ea. They are perfect for what I need, just a paint and they will be perfect.
I also managed to complete two paintings this week:)
sat 24th Mar Today I went to "Campbell's Cash and Carry" , I went there mainly to look at some retro/foreign sweets for the candy girl trays. I took pictures of the ones I thought would be good, and included their price within the snap-shot. Week 9 26/03/12 Tues This week i am presenting my discussion to my teacher. I have made my written notes a bit different to the other discussions, because my project has a different plan to what others are doing for theirs. Mine is planned out like a timeline. This week I aim to complete the discussion with Ms Woud and to finish my term 1 research for marking. Holidays work
